I laugh a lot these days. It’s not because my life is easy. I’m here fumbling around in this human body trying to make sense of it all, just like everybody else. There’s nothing special about me, and yet there’s everything special about me—just like everyone else! There have been many times in my life when that sentence would have sounded more like “I cry a lot these days.” So, what has created the shift?
